The stand is certainly very solid. It's also much heavier than I expected, but that's on me for not looking at the specs for the weight. I put it to use immediately out of the box. Does exactly as it's supposed to. A little stiff to fold but it folds up well and that's what I need. Not sure if I'm going to tote around as I had intended. Might need to look for something lighter
